Rugby’s Tom Cossar has made it through to his first ever British Masters as a rider, taking his place in grasstrack’s prestige event on Sunday, August 14 in Wiltshire.
Back in 2009, Tom was there as a 17-year-old passenger to his elder brother Mark, becoming (and still) the youngest ever winner in the Masters’ 65-year history.

“With a brand new passenger (Michael Chittenden) I know it’s going to be tough against all the top boys in the Masters,” said Tom.
“I’ve not ridden at the track before, and on a patched up bike, pretty much everything is against me, but I’m very happy to be there in my own right for the first time as a rider.”
Those ‘top boys’ in a star-studded Masters line-up also include one Mark Cossar, four-time winner of the sport’s most sought-after title.
