OLs Ladies target promotion
Held at the Crofts, the event marked a positive National Challenge Midlands League campaign in which the ladies finished third and were unbeaten after Christmas,
As well as recognising players for their achievements the event also paid tribute to former player Jane Daniel, who recently died aged 27 after battling with a brain tumor for several years.

Hide AdForward of the Year went to back row Caroline Spence after only her first full season at the club while Back of the Year was awarded to another debutant, Elin Petterson .
The coaches’ ‘Bungy’ award went to Sarah Munday who will be vice-captain next season.
Captain Hannah Leyland was named Chairwoman’s Clubwoman for her dedication and May Sly picked up both the Most Improved Player and Players’ Player trophies.
Sarah Holloway received the Helen Ames ‘You Didn’t Want To Do It Like That’ award for comedy exploits.

Hide AdThe team also raised £245 in a raffle which will be split between Cancer Resarch UK and a brain tumour charity.
The ladies are aiming to win the league and gain promotion next season and are recruiting new players to help them with their efforts.
Pre-season training starts next month and both new and experienced players looking for a team are welcome.
