A great fun handicap competition to mark the end of the year was held at Rough Close Scout Camp, Tile Hill, near Coventry. Octavian Droobers club members and guests made up 23 teams competing on four legs traversing across the extremely wet fields and through the woods.

Andy Emmerson completed all four legs himself to win the handicap prize in 85.27mins. The fastest person around the course was Matt Elkington who took only 47.12mins (handicap time of 87.12mins) also running solo. With the team name of ‘Get Brexmas Done’ Guy Ross, Stephen Elkington, Rachel Emmerson and Helen Elkington were the top relay team, who each ran a leg, with a total handicap time of 103.30mins.
