Panaich family are all belted up

Four members from one family all gained their black belts at the Tae Kwon Do Association of Great Britain black belt grading at Bristol Academy.

Sisters Ranisha, 17, and Amrita Panaich, 15, and their cousins, brothers Harneil, 15, and Gurvir Panaich, 17, are all students at Myton School and have trained for the last four years under Warwick Tae Kwon-Do School instructor Dave Oliver.

Oliver said: “I have had three members from one family gain their black belt before but this is a first, having four members from one family.

“It was a great achievement. They have all worked tremendously hard, training twice a week.

“I am very proud of them, they are a credit to me and their proud parents.”

Warwick Tae Kwon-Do trains at Round Oak School in Warwick on Mondays and Wednesdays evenings.
