Princethorpe net title

Princethorpe College’ under-18 squad have lifted the County title for the fourth consecutive year.

The team took advantage of the new facilities at North Leamington School to produce some impressive wins on their way to the trophy.

Their best performance came in an 8-4 win over Kings High.

After a disappointing draw against Rugby School they then bounced back to post convincing victories against Alcester Grammar (15-0), Shottery (14-0) and Kenilworth (11-3).

Louise Champion, Princethorpe College’s head of PE, said: “There were some excellent performances across the team but a special mention has to go to our two younger players from Year 11, Jodie Fisher and Millie Bray.

“To play up with the senior girls to such a high level was thrilling to watch.”

Princethorpe now go through to the next round of the national competition on November 20.
