Rain forces Warwick abandonment
This afternoon’s Ladies’ Day fixture at Warwick has been abandoned due to a waterlogged track.
The going was already described as heavy by clerk of the course Sulekha Varma and persistent rain since 4am was the final nail in the coffin.
With more heavy rain forecast throughout the course of the day, it was an easy decision to take.
