RUGBY: Lions at Old Coventrians tomorrow
Rugby Lions travel to Old Coventrians on Saturday in a crucial re-arranged game, postponed from the new year.
Lions played a hastily organised friendly against Earlsdon 2nds on Saturday after league opponents Pershore pulled out of their fixture, unable to raise a team.

Hide AdPershore are currently bottom of Midlands 3 West (South) and the awarded points lifted Lions to second in the table on 56 points, just one point behind leaders Evesham on 57 in an incredibly tight division, which is looking like a five-horse race.
Old Coventrians are third with 53 with Ledbury and Southam both on 52 points.
Old Coventrians lost 30-26 at ninth-placed Cheltenham North last weekend, while Evesham beat Ledbury 23-8 and Southam beat Old Leamingtonians 32-29.
After their excellent win over Birmingham Exiles last weekend, Welsh face Long Buckby 2nds in a Clonmel Cup tie this Saturday at Alwyn Road, kick-off 2.15pm.
