Rugby Lions continued their Midlands 3 West (South) title campaign with a 71-0 win over Woodrush at Webb Ellis Road on Saturday.

Woodrush are a belligerent and combative side and take some breaking down, gargantuan 1-15, writes Rob Dignum.

They have caused many teams problems recently, just last week highfliers Southam edged them 23-9 having been down 6-5 at half time.

To run out resounding 71-0 victors therefore was pleasing indeed and proof that things are coming together nicely, and in pretty timely fashion as the league begins to hot up.
