Warwick duo believe Team GB will rise to Woz Challenge

Coach and Team GB captain Weller and Baron-Harrison will come up against Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, who will be taking part in the tournament, also known as the Woz Challenge Cup, with his team The Silicon Valley Aftershocks.
Two further British teams have also entered, Team England and Cornwall Segway Team, alongside 19 other sides from around the world, including Barbados and Lebanon.

This globally renowned tournament is now in its ninth year, with the three British teams looking to build on their performances in the inaugural UK tournament in Rugby earlier this year.
Defender Baron-Harrison said: “We’ve been working hard to grow the sport in the UK since 2014 and being able to experience such intense tournament pressures at the UK tournament earlier this year has hopefully put us in better stead for the World Cup.”
Weller, the founder of UK Segway Polo, added: “I’m incredibly proud of how far the players have come in their practices; some have only been playing a matter of months, yet are displaying some excellent skills.
“Ultimately this ‘Sport of Equals’ is based on an ethos of essentially having fun, yet there are definitely ripples of pressure being felt amongst the teams.”
The four-day tournament kicks off today.
