A talented teenage singer-songwriter from Kenilworth has released his second single today (January 22).

Recorded at Woodbine Street Studios in Leamington, Daniel Barrie's single 'Curtain Falls' is based around the 'relief of letting go of a toxic friendship or relationship'.

His narrative song-writing tells stories centered on his personal experiences, charting love, heartbreak, grief, anger, friendship, and even the 2020 coronavirus lockdown.

A former pupil at Kenilworth School, Daniel is currently studying A Level music and a BTEC in music performance at the BOA in Birmingham, while launching his musical career.

He has already written over 70 songs, many of which can be heard on his YouTube and social media channels, and he recently performed at the Mayor’s Boxing Day event at Kenilworth Castle.
