Good news as food hygiene ratings handed to 15 Nuneaton and Bedworth establishments

A Food Standards Agency rating sticker on a window of a restaurant in central London. A huge variation in food hygiene standards remains across the UK, with one in five high or medium-risk food outlets failing to meet standards, according to a study.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 15 of Nuneaton and Bedworth’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to seven restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Saints Nuneaton at Newdegate Street, Nuneaton; rated on December 7

• Rated 5: Amore Mio at Upper Abbey Street, Nuneaton; rated on December 6

• Rated 5: McDonald's at Drivethru Bermuda Park, St Davids Way, Nuneaton; rated on December 2

• Rated 5: Sovrano Caffe at 11-17 Queens Road, Nuneaton; rated on December 2

• Rated 5: The Time Cafe and Bar of Harmonia (Nuneaton) Ltd at 4 Market Place, Nuneaton; rated on December 2

• Rated 5: Cafe Pausa at Dunelm, Regent Street, Nuneaton; rated on November 25

• Rated 5: The Chatterbox at 33 Leicester Street, Bulkington; rated on November 19
