Housebuilder strengthens team with new addition to Leamington head office
A housebuilder has strengthened its growing team in the West Midlands with the addition of a new land and planning manager.

Ben Webster recently joined the West Midlands office of William Davis Homes, based in Leamington Spa. The developer’s head office is in Leicestershire, and it opened its West Midlands office in 2022 as part of a focus on expansion into the region.
Ben, who joins the business from a land promotion company, is working alongside Andrew Morgan, William Davis’ land director for the West Midlands, and James Chatterton, the company’s head of planning for the region.

Ben said: “I’ve always been interested in property, I studied real estate at university and have worked on land acquisition and in a role for a smaller developer in the past.
“It’s been great joining the William Davis team – the West Midlands arm of the business is growing and it’s an exciting time, so I’m enjoying being part of that.
“My focus is on working to refresh our land portfolio and keeping new land opportunities coming through by meeting with landowners and continuing to build up our network.”
Ben said he was looking forward to working on some of William Davis’ forthcoming developments right from the start through to seeing people moving into their new homes. He said: “It will be rewarding to see the whole process through.”
William Davis currently has planning permission granted for 444 plots across the West Midlands on sites in locations including Burton Green, Droitwich, Fernhill Heath, Pershore and Warwick.
The West Midlands office opened the doors to its first live development, Westwood Park in Burton Green, near Coventry, late last year.
Andrew Morgan, William Davis’ land director for the West Midlands, said: “Ben has been an excellent addition to our team and has already made great strides in our relationships with landowners and our wider network.
“With planning approvals in place for 444 plots across a number of quality sites, our land pipeline in the West Midlands is now well-established and we are looking ahead to growing this further.”
