Nurse celebrates 20 years long service at Leamington Spa care home

Staff and residents at Cubbington Mill care home in Leamington Spa are celebrating because their much-loved colleague, Fritzie Salazar, has received a prestigious Long Service Award in recognition of working for Barchester Healthcare for 20 years.

Registered nurse, Fritzie Salazar, started at Barchester in 2001 and has worked tirelessly with her residents and their relatives to ensure that all their needs have been met over the years. In a heartfelt speech, Fritzie said: ‘’I was overwhelmed with joy, love and happiness as I celebrated my 20th anniversary at Cubbington Mill with a surprise party. I feel truly blessed to work alongside such wonderful people, who have become my second family. Cubbington Mill is so much more than a workplace to me; it is my home away from home, and I am incredibly grateful for the friendships, memories and support I have experienced over the past 20 years.”

Ula presented Fritzie with flowers, chocolate, a bottle of fizz and a love2shop voucher and the whole home came together to celebrate with her.
