The Kenilworth Advent Calendar with a Star Prize
Soroptimist International (SI) Kenilworth and District have stepped up to organise the popular Kenilworth Advent Calendar this year, providing the people of Kenilworth with a chance to win a Ruby & Diamond Necklace generously donated by James Moore, or one of the other 95 quality prizes kindly provided by Kenilworth businesses.

Kenilworth Rotary Club were unable to produce the calendar, so SI Kenilworth & District came to the rescue. They asked Sixth Form Art Students from Kenilworth School to design the front, with the beautiful winning picture of Kenilworth High Street lit up for Christmas being painted by Maddy Towle.
Rotary provided advice and contacts; the media company ‘Loudlocal’ donated technical support, while Abstract Design and Emerson Press generously gave their services to design and print it. Several other local businesses also sponsored its production while a number of shops, restaurants and businesses have agreed to have the Calendar available to buy. You can even buy a virtual copy online, although any prize will definitely be real! All this amazing local support will enable any profits to be shared between several local charities.

It was decided to reduce the size of the Calendar to make it easier to handle and post, but there will still be 24 doors with 4 prizes behind each day’s door. You will win the prize if a number behind one of your calendar’s doors corresponds to that prize number.
So, starting on Monday 2nd November and throughout the month, look out for the Calendar in your favourite shops and for Soroptimists in orange high viz jackets selling the £5 Advent Calendar around the town; then start to open the doors and claim your prizes from 1st December.
