Performers will be singing in the rain on outdoor stage
Kilworth House Theatre is to stage the musical Singin’ in the Rain and is based on the movie of the same name from 1952 and starring Gene Kelly.

The show is set in Hollywood in the 1920s, when the silver screen found its voice and left silent movies – and some of its stars – behind.
It is packed full of charm, romance, comedy and tinseltown glamour.

Hide AdThis spectacular show focuses on romantic lead Don Lockwood, his sidekick Cosmo Brown, aspiring actress Kathy Selden and Lockwood’s leading lady Lina Lamont, whose less-than-dulcet vocal tones make her an unlikely candidate for stardom in talking pictures.
This light-hearted spoof of frantic Hollywood – as the advent of sound changes all the movie making rules and Monumental Studios prepares its romantic epic ‘The Duelling Cavalier” – includes some of the best-loved comedy routines, dance numbers and love ballads ever written. Singin’ In the Rain is quite simply 24 carat classic entertainment.

Among the cast for the show at Kilworth House Theatre are Graham MacDuff as Don Lockwood and Jenny Gayner as Lina Lamont.
Kathy Selden will be played by Carolyn Maitland and Adam Margilewski portrays Cosmo Brown.
