Benjamin Jackson
Music and Television Writer
Benjamin Jackson is a British-born New Zealander who graduated from the University of Lincoln in 2005 and spent almost ten years in Aotearoa writing for publications such as Vice, The Groove Guide, Rip It Up and presenting radio in Auckland, while also acting as a publicist for an inner-city PR company specialising in theatre and the arts sector. He moved back to the United Kingdom and joined Nationalworld in 2022, initially as an SEO and Trends writer, with a focus on more odd human interest pieces, before moving over to Peopleworld, where he currently writes about film, television, music and popular culture. When he’s not writing, Benjamin is an avid film buff, enjoying the more ‘odd’ side of cinema and enjoys playing video games, though admits he should curb this hobby a little more if he could. If pushed for an answer, he would cite Civilization VI as the best game he’s played, so far…
