Distraught owner Gemma Hopkins said the gang stole Lottie between 3am and 7am yesterday (Sun) as they slept.

Gemma, of Ashby Road, Peatling Parva, suspects the raiders specifically targeted their three-year-old Dalmatian under cover of darkness as they didn’t pinch anything else.

Lottie, who’s microchipped, is special to the family because she’s their 11-year-old autistic daughter Chloe’s best mate.

And Chloe has been left heartbroken by the callous crime.

It’s even more crucial that Lottie’s found and recovered urgently because she suffers from a liver condition and needs a special diet.

Gemma posted on her Facebook page:“Someone broke into my house and took my daughter’s dog she’s micro chipped, has kidney problems so appears skinny yet eats loads, police have proved not useful at all so please share the hell out as I have a heartbroken 11 year old stolen from peatling parva.”

Anyone with any information about Lottie’s theft is urged to call Leicestershire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
