The Myton Hospices Santa Dash returns to Leamington Spa this Christmas

The Myton Hospices’ popular Santa Dash will return to Leamington Spa on Sunday 6th December, bringing festive fun to the community while raising vital funds to support local people living with life-limiting illnesses.

The festive 5K welcomes participants of all ages and abilities to run, jog or walk their way around the course, dressed in a Santa suit or their favourite Christmas jumper. Participants can look forward to medals, mince pies, snow machines and a high five from Santa at the finish line.

Younger participants can take part in the Mini Dash, giving children under 13 the chance to earn a medal from Santa himself. Four-legged friends are also welcome, with a Best Dressed Dog competition offering prizes for the most festive pooches.

There will be plenty of Christmas cheer off the course, too, with festive food, mulled wine, entertainment, face painting, carols and a magical inflatable snow globe for visitors to enjoy.

The Myton Hospices recently launched its Bed Appeal, aiming to raise £327,000 to fund three additional hospice beds for 12 months. As the only hospice in Coventry and Warwickshire providing specialist palliative and end of life care, and the only local hospice with inpatient beds, Myton relies on the support of its community to help more people access the expert, compassionate care they need, when they need it most. By taking part, participants can help make a real difference to people across Coventry and Warwickshire this Christmas and beyond.
