Emergency services have been called to an incident in Warwick.

Warwickshire Police and West Midlands Ambulance Service were both sent to the scene in Coventry Road this morning (Friday January 22).

The incident is said to be a road traffic collision which involves a van and a wall.

A spokesperson from West Midlands Ambulance Service, said: "We received a 999 call reporting an RTC involving a van and a wall at 7.18am this morning on Coventry Road, Warwick.

"Two ambulances, a paramedic officer and a critical care paramedic from The Air Ambulance Service attended the scene."

According to OPU Warwickshire a diversion is in place.

A spokepserson said: "We are currently dealing with an incident on the Coventry Road, Warwick.

"A local diversion route is in place, but there may be some delays."
