Dog walkers in Jephson Gardens in Leamington have reported an increase in rats at the popular visitor location.

Given that it is a park near a river, you would expect rats to be present - but some people have reported an increase in their number to Warwick District Council (WDC).

"The nest seems to be in the big tree near to the Czech Memorial."

"I did look to report them on the Warwick District website but it just says that due to Covid they are not dealing with rat problems at the moment."

He has discussed the issue with other people in the park who also said they saw an increase and would contact the council.
