This photograph was found among some pictures bought at one of Seaman’s last auctions by Roy Morris of Lawrence Road. Do you recognise anyone? The sign above the door says United Railwaymen’s Club & Institute and may have been the old Spring Street premises. There are no other details as to when or why it was taken, I’m afraid.
