Bombay restaurant has been in the Ahmed family for the last 40 years.

It is currently owned and managed by Iftehar and his daughter Nissa, who, in-turn, took over from Nissa’s grandfather and uncles, Ahmed, Kamal and Anwar - who opened the restaurant way back in 1979.

Nissa said: “It has been hard work working towards this huge accolade.

"For the past 12 months we have been implementing constant improvements throughout the business, right from the kitchen to marketing, and we can now safely say that it’s paid off.”
