Over the decades, the centre has been a safe place for young people from across Lillington, Leamington and Warwick to learn, make friends and take part in different activities.

It is part of Warwickshire County Council’s Targeted Youth Service and is a base for youth clubs, alternative education and various other support for young people.

A former member said: “Most of my most treasured memories were made at LYC.

"I absolutely loved anything crafty and there was always lots of that going on at the table.
