A spokesperson from the LWS night shelter said: "During lockdown, our focus was on the delivery of hot meals and food parcels to those temporarily housed in Leamington and Warwick, with further food parcels being delivered to those who are vulnerably-housed in the area.

"As lockdown has eased, our focus has returned to running as an outdoor soup kitchen, supplying a hot meal every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from our back gate.

"We continue to hand out small, supplementary food parcels to those who need them.

"As many volunteers have returned to pre-lockdown commitments we are running low on volunteer numbers and would love some new people to join our team.

"Tasks include preparing meals, serving food and drinks, making food parcels and keeping the shelter clean and tidy.

"We provide full PPE and other precautions to keep our volunteers and guests as safe as possible.

"We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our volunteers, donors and supporters for your help during these last few months.

"Things have been very unpredictable but with your hard work and generosity our service has been able to keep supporting those who need it most. "
