Update: Click here to find out the wife's reaction to finding huge T-Rex in her Lillington garden when she woke up in the middle of the night
Here's a sight you don't see everyday - a huge T-Rex being lifted into a garden by a crane!
Adrian Shaw said he is delighted to have the dinosaur as a unique feature in his Lillington garden - and he can't wait to see his wife's face when she returns home from work.
Residents watched on as the 3.5-metre replica of a rampaging T-Rex was delivered to the garden in Grange Road today (Thursday September 3) by crane.Adrian said: "This project is a result of my wife's request to make the garden 'look nice'.
"I thought nothing could possibly look nicer in the garden than a 3.5 metre replica of a rampaging T-Rex, so I bought one.
"I guess that it is most people's dream to own a 3.5 metre replica of a rampaging T-Rex but they don't have the space or resources to do this.
"I have been very fortunate to be able to realise the dream."
His next job is to of persuade his wife that it should stay.
"I imagine my wife will be delighted when she sees what I have done with the garden when she gets home from work," he said.
"She loves the Jurassic Park films and watches all the David Attenborough documentaries, so I couldn't go wrong with the purchase really."
