Cities searching for ‘Leap Day’ proposal information

Research, carried out by jewellers William May, has analysed search volume data for 25 major UK cities, in order to reveal which places are actively looking into this tradition.

The research reveals that women in the cities of London, Cardiff and Birmingham are most likely to take up the Leap Day tradition proposal tradition.

However, at the other end of the scale, Swansea, Southampton, Hull, Sunderland and Plymouth all had low levels of search intent around ‘Leap Day’ phrases. These were therefore predicted to give the practice a swerve.

The cities of Sheffield, Coventry, Belfast, Derby, Stoke-on-Trent, Wolverhampton, Bradford, Preston, Newport, and Leicester then fell somewhere in the middle, with just average levels of search intent around ‘Leap Day’ phrases.
