Skelton continues to fire in winners as Warwick races return
Skelton hits the £1m prize money mark for the season
Warwickshire trainer Dan Skelton hit the £1m mark in prize money won for the season at the weekend and will be looking to add to that total at Warwick's Alder Demain Akers Stan Mellor Chase Day next Tuesday (2nd November).

Winners had eluded Skelton at Cheltenham's opening meeting of the season on Friday with Calico, who looked to have every chance with two fences to jump, fading up the hill to finish fourth in his bid to win the feature race for the second year running.
However, his prize money, together with that for Ice Jet and Cooltobecareless who both finished third, took Skelton to within touching distance of the £1m mark for the campaign and he sailed past that on Saturday when Here Comes Georgie took the William Hill Best Odds Guaranteed Handicap Chase, worth £52,000 to the winner, doubling up with North Shore in the following race.

There are seven races at Warwick on Tuesday, beginning at 12.18pm with the £10,000 Alder Demain & Akers Juvenile Maiden Hurdle, with the highlight being the third, the £15,000 Stan Mellor Memorial 'Chasing Excellence' Beginners' Chase won last year by Go West who led from start to finish.
Also on the card is the JETS Richard Davis Awards Handicap Chase over two a half miles in which Tedwin Hills and James Bowen made all the running to beat Regal Renaissance by 10 lengths 12 months ago.
Prior to the race, the annual Richard Davis Awards, first hosted in 1997 in memory of the young jockey who had lost his life in a race fall the year before, will be presented to the three winners.
The awards highlight the career development of both former and current jockeys and showcase the services provided by JETS (Jockeys Education and Training Scheme) to help them prepare for their futures after riding.
Making up the seven races are the Alder Demain & Akers Novices' Hurdle, the Alder Demain & Akers Handicap Hurdle, the afternoon's longest race, the Alder Demain & Akers Handicap Chase over three miles, one and a half furlongs, with the Alex & Edward Alder Handicap Hurdle due off at 3.48pm bringing the action to a close.
