New Warwick Day Centre opens to bring community together as New Age Care celebrates five years
A new Day Centre is opening in Warwick this November, offering a welcoming space for people to meet, make friends and enjoy activities, as family-run care provider New Age Care celebrates its fifth anniversary.

Located at 45 Coten End, Warwick, the new centre aims to help tackle loneliness and social isolation by creating a place where people can come together, stay active and feel connected to their local community.
The Day Centre will welcome older adults and people with additional care or support needs, including younger adults (18+) who would benefit from companionship and social activities. Visitors do not need to be existing New Age Care clients to attend.
From Monday to Friday, between 2pm and 4pm, the centre will offer free drop-in sessions for older adults and people with additional support needs who would enjoy some company. Visitors can enjoy tea, coffee, biscuits and a friendly chat, with no obligation to take part in paid activities.
There will also be a varied programme of affordable activities, including arts and crafts, games and quizzes, gentle exercise, guest speakers, entertainment and seasonal celebrations.
The opening coincides with a significant milestone for New Age Care, which celebrates five years in business this November.
Founded in 2021 by Samantha Whittaker, New Age Care began with just two people providing visiting care in Warwickshire. Five years later, the family-run company has grown to over 100 people, expanding its visiting care services across the Midlands and into Hampshire, alongside providing live-in care throughout the UK.
Samantha's journey into care began following the loss of both her parents to cancer. Her personal experiences, together with her time working in the care sector, inspired her to establish a company that would put clients and their families first, while creating a positive and supportive working environment for staff.
Samantha Whittaker, Founder and Director of New Age Care, said:
"When I started New Age Care five years ago, I wanted to do things differently. I wanted to create a company where people genuinely mattered, where clients received the care and respect they deserved and where staff felt valued."
"To see how far we've come, from just two people to over 100, is something I'm incredibly proud of. But what matters most to me is the difference we make to people's lives."
"Opening a Day Centre has been a dream of mine for a long time. I've always wanted to create a place where people can come together, build friendships and feel part of a community. Loneliness and isolation can have such a big impact on people's lives, particularly as they get older, and I want our centre to help make a difference."
"It's about creating somewhere people look forward to visiting, whether that's to enjoy an activity, meet new people or simply have a cup of tea and a chat. And importantly, you don't have to be receiving care from New Age Care to come along. We want people to feel welcome, included and part of a community."
New Age Care is inviting the local community to celebrate the opening of the Day Centre and its fifth anniversary at a special Open Day on Thursday 5th November 2026, from 1pm to 5pm.
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the new centre, meet the team, learn about the activities on offer and find out more about New Age Care.
Everyone interested in finding out more about the Day Centre is welcome to drop in and join the celebrations.
