Life can bring challenges that can be difficult to navigate, from coping with grief and supporting someone following a bereavement to managing stress, building resilience and understanding changes such as the menopause.

The new workshops from Myton bring together the charity’s experience in palliative and end of life care, bereavement, emotional wellbeing and resilience, providing practical tools and insight that can help organisations and groups better understand these experiences and support those around them.

Delivered by specialist wellbeing practitioners and informed by expertise from across Myton, the workshops cover a range of topics:

Bereavement and Grief – understanding grief and how to support colleagues or others following a loss.

Emotional Resilience – exploring practical ways to strengthen wellbeing, build emotional resilience and help individuals manage the pressures of everyday life.

Menopause Support – increasing understanding of the menopause and its potential impact on individuals and those around them.

Unlocking Stress – understanding stress, its causes and effects, and practical ways to manage it.

Reflective Practitioner – a practical and interactive workshop for those who want to develop the skills and confidence to facilitate reflective practice within their organisation or group.

Drop-in workshops are also available for individuals looking to develop their awareness, knowledge and skills in these areas.

The workshops are designed for workplaces, community groups and other organisations looking to develop knowledge and confidence around these topics, whether that is supporting colleagues following a bereavement, building emotional resilience, increasing understanding of the menopause or developing confidence around wellbeing.

By booking a workshop, organisations will also be supporting The Myton Hospices’ work across Coventry and Warwickshire. As a charity, Myton relies on the support of the local community to provide specialist palliative and end of life care to local people living with life-limiting illnesses, as well as support for their families.
