Promising the best performance standards, it includes a world-class band and some very smooth moves.

The group is currently made up of Michael Williams, Ryan King, Daniel Bowen-Smith and Damion Charles.

Michael said: “It is a rebranded show, we have done a number of dates so far that have gone really well and are looking forward to Northampton where we always get a good reception.”

He was especially keen to pay tribute to the song writers.

He added: “The group has only a written a few songs, we would not be where we are and have had the longevity we have had if it wasn’t for the songwriters.

“I think they should get a lot more praise than they do because without them we would be nothing.”

The next few concerts will be tinged with sadness for the group as they are the first since the death of Ben E. King.

Michael said: “He was a great singer and song writer and we will be doing a little tribute to him. He was with The Drifters for two separate spells and had a legendary solo career as well.

“I think the concert will be a celebration of his life as well.”
