Rugby residents create knitted poppies to remember the fallen
Rugby residents have knitted poppies and put them on display outside the building where they live to remember the fallen for Remembrance Day.
Iris Edwards and other residents of Hanover Gardens in Albert Street often display their knitted creations for good causes.
The display includes lines from the poem For the Fallen, by English poet and writer Laurence Binyon, which was written in September 1914 in response to the early casualties of the First World War and is often recited during Remembrance Day.
