I am an SEO and trends writer for National World creating content for sites across the UK including Edinburgh News, London World, and Sheffield Star. On a day-to-day basis, I write a range of national and regional content including breaking news, lifestyle and TV. I studied Journalism and Media at Middlesex University before working as a TV and showbiz reporter at MyLondon. I interviewed celebrities such as Mo Farah, Emma Willis and Ashley Banjo and my career goal is to shine a spotlight on diverse talent and stories. Some of the articles I am proud of writing include a piece about two women on Dragons’ Den who created black Christmas decorations, and another on the cast of a Channel 4 show about an all female Muslim punk group. When I’m not at my desk, I enjoy baking, reading (mainly historical fiction and thrillers)or re-watching either Gilmore Girls or Friends. You will also most likely catch me hunting for bargains at flea markets and charity shops or drinking coffee or bubble tea. In the future, I would love to travel more and learn about different cultures and religions - such as visiting the pyramids in Egypt or the temples in India. One of the best places I’ve travelled to so far has been Dubai.
