Police ‘keep things moving’ after portable toilet dumped in middle of road near Lutterworth
Officers were called to move a portable toilet that had been found abandoned in a road near Lutterworth.
The blue portaloo had been on an adventure of its own when it was discovered on Saturday (August 15).
The Market Harborough and Lutterworth Police said: “During patrols on the Lutterworth beat area, officers came across something you don’t see every day — a Portaloo parked neatly in the middle of the road, looking like it had decided to go on its own little adventure. And no — before anyone asks — it’s not a Tardis…”
They added: “Thankfully, a kind member of the public had already alerted the company, and we parked up nearby to make sure everything stayed safe while it was collected. The road is now clear, and the wandering loo has been reunited with its rightful home.”
If you spot anything unusual causing a blockage on the roads, just let us know so we can keep things moving.
