Group charged with running Leamington brothel

Two men and six women have been charged for their roles in a nationwide brothel conspiracy which included a business in Leamington.

Suspects, Ting Nee Low, 34, Chai Luan Lim, 49, Tracy Shu Wah Chan, 44, Tarun Lad, 37, and Shuangxi Fu, 35, were all charged with managing and keeping a brothel.

Additionally, Low, Lad and Fu, along with Chye Redhead, 64, Chay Yeoh, 54, and Martin Starrett, 51, were charged with transferring criminal property in relation to the case.

All eight will appear before Leamington Spa Magistrates Court on December 2.

Along with a site in Leamington, police searched premises in Nuneaton, Torquay, Finchley, Nottingham, and Wolverhampton last September when arrests were made.
