Christmas Storytime with Santa and Mrs Claus heading to Warwick
Families are being invited to get into the festive spirit this December with a new Storytime with Santa and Mrs Claus experience in Warwick.
On Sunday December 6, children will have the chance to meet Santa and Mrs Claus at the Visitor Information Centre inside The Court House in Jury Street, for a 20-minute Storytime session.
Each session will begin with a welcome from Santa and Mrs Claus, followed by a Christmas poem and festive songs that children can join in with.
There will then be an opportunity for children to have their photograph taken with Santa and Mrs Claus, before each child receives a Christmas activity gift, a letter to Santa and a pencil to take home.
Tickets cost £7 per child, with up to two adults able to attend free of charge per paying child.
The sessions are designed as group experiences, with several children attending each slot.
Numbers are limited, and families are encouraged to book in advance.
A spokesperson from the Visitor Information Centre said: “We’re really excited to be bringing Santa and Mrs Claus to Warwick Visitor Centre this Christmas.
“We wanted to create something that is affordable, festive and, most importantly, gives children the opportunity to enjoy a special Christmas experience with their families.
“The Storytime sessions will be full of Christmas songs, a little bit of magic and, of course, the chance to meet Santa and Mrs Claus.
“We hope it will become a lovely part of Warwick’s Christmas celebrations.”
Families should arrive in good time for their booked session, as sessions will run throughout the day and late arrivals may not be able to transfer to another time slot.
