New mini garden centre to be opened at back of popular Cubbington pet shop
The new owners of Pets N Plants in Cubbington will soon open a mini garden centre at the back of the shop.
Dilojan (better known as DJ) and Nivetha Vamathevan took over the shop at 44 Rugby Road in January.
The shop sells a wide variety of pet food, pet accessories and plants but since they took over the business theyha been developing the plant side of the business, moving towards selling plants all year round rather than just seasonally as in previous years.
DJ said: “We’re now excited to announce the next step - The Secret Garden, our new mini garden centre at the back of the shop.
"Pets N Plants has been part of the local community for over 40 years and we’re really proud to be continuing the legacy of such an established local business while bringing some new ideas to the shop.”
The couple will hold an opening event for the mini garden centre on Sunday November 1 from 10pm.
