Warwick Lions marks 65 years of helping people in the community
The Warwick Lions Club recently marked its 65th anniversary of helping people in the community.
Members of the club gathered last week at the Fourpenny pub in Crompton Street in Warwick for their Charter Night Dinner to mark the anniversary.
Lions Clubs are part of a global service organisation and are non-political, have no cultural or religious boundaries and are open to both men and women from all walks of life.
Warwick Lions aim to provide help and funds for those in need, they assist individuals and families in crisis, provide items of essential household equipment, distribute food parcels and make donations to schools and other charities.
The Club said it is urgently looking for new volunteers to assist with its charity work and to help organise its fundraising events.
