Pupils inspire Kineton Remembrance display

PHOTOGRAPHS taken by Kineton High School pupils during a trip to battlefields has inspired a shop’s Remembrance Day display.

Staff at Flower Thyme in Kineton created their window display using work and images produced by year eight pupils who visit Tyne Cot Cemetery in Belgium, the biggest Commonwealth war cemetery in the world.

The shop and the British Legion had provided the pupils with a wreath and small crosses to take with them on the trip, which took place during the summer. The teenagers placed their crosses on graves of their choosing, while the wreath was laid by names of soldiers that had served in the Royal Warwickshire regiment.
