Warwickshire ambulance staff and Warwickshire policeman brave the shave for Alex's Journey

Paramedic area support officer Ian Inglesant and ambulance fleet assistant Paul Rowlands were joined by Rich Prior from Warwickshire Police’s OPU to have their hair shaved off at Warwick Hub to raise money for Alex’s Journey.
Nine-year-old Alexander Goodwin was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma last month and a fund-raising drive is well underway in order to send him on a dream holiday to Disney World.

Speaking about his new look, Ian said: “It is a fantastic cause to raise money for and if we can help send Alex to Disney World then it will be worth losing every lock of hair.
“I’m actually quite surprised that it doesn’t look too bad to be honest.
“We’ve raised a superb amount already which we are really pleased with. If we can push it any higher, then all the better.”

“I’d urge everyone throughout the ambulance service and beyond to do their bit now and help raise some more money for an extremely brave young boy.”
