Witnesses sought to violent incident in Leamington

Police are seeking witnesses to an incident, which is thought to have happened near Vialli’s takeaway in Victoria Terrace just before 1.15am.

The victim, a 25-year-old man, was seen talking to a group of other men, one or two of whom may have walked off with his black Adidas bag in the direction of Bath Street.

He sustained facial bruising at some time during the incident and officers investigating are trying to establish where, and who was responsible.
