Ross Noble and Tim Vine announce Warwick Arts Centre and Leamington dates
Fanciful rambles and sharp one-liners await
Two of Britain’s favourite comedians have announced dates in Warwickshire and Coventry next year.

Ross Noble heads to Warwick Arts Centre on Wednesday March 10 with his hit show Cranium Of Curiosities. Billed as “the Wizard of Waffle, the Rambler Royale, the Noodlers’ Noodler,” Noble is a former Time Out Award winner and a Barry Award winner in Australia, with an array of other awards and nominations too.
On stage, Ross made his musical theatre debut in a 2015 production of The Producers, before he received an Olivier-award nomination and won the What’s On Stage Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical, for his performance as Igor in Mel Brooks’ 2017 West End revival of monster hit musical Young Frankenstein, at London’s Garrick Theatre.

As well as his on-stage work, Ross has appeared on numerous television and radio programmes, including Live At The Apollo (BBC One), QI (BBC One), Just A Minute (BBC Radio 4), I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue (BBC Radio 4) and The Infinite Monkey Cage (BBC Radio 4). Ross has made 22 appearances on Have I Got News For You (BBC One). The Evening Standard said of him: “No one does off-the-wall noodling better.”

And Tim Vine will be at the Spa Centre in Leamington on May 27 and 28 with his new show, Sillypun Valley, promising “a barrage of new drivel”. Audiences are told to “expect daft gags by the handful” in “a show without a message”.
Tim said: “On average children laugh 300 times a day and adults laugh about 17 times. Come along to my new show and get your average up a bit.”

Tim Vine has been making the country laugh for over 30 years. He started doing stand-up in the early 1990s on the London circuit and quickly discovered one liners were his forte. This led to success at the Edinburgh Festival with his show The Tim Vine Fiasco. He soon hosted various game shows on television and made numerous appearances on other television and radio shows, always armed with his trademark one-liners.
In 2001 he starred in the Sketch Show on ITV which won a BAFTA. By 2003 he was doing national stand-up tours and went on to release the popular Tim Vine Joke Book and The Tim Vine Bumper Book of Silliness, and he won Dave’s Best Joke Of the Fringe twice at the Edinburgh Festival in 2010 and 2014. His television appearances since have ranged from Taskmaster through to Celebrity Pottery Throwdown.
Tim’s Radio 4 show The Tim Vine Chat Show, in which he interviewed members of the audience, proved popular and he has also produced and directed three films.
His latest tour follows the success of his two most recent outings, Breeeep! and Sunset Milk Idiot.
He will be joined at next year’s shows by comedy magician John Archer.
