BFC pull away as Grovers Rovers slip up against Zimmers
Champions narrowly beaten by title rivals
BFC United continued on their winning way in the Blythe Liggins Skittles League with another big points haul at Leamington Cricket Club this week.

This time it was against Skittled Pink, who kept things tight until the halfway point, but then let things slip.
The final score saw BFC win 208-186 (16-4), taking them seven points clear at the top of the table.
Meanwhile, reigning champions Grovers Rovers, slipped from second to third behind Zimmers, who beat them in a very close contest 204-201 (11-9), with last man James Cowan’s 40 being the main deciding factor.
Demons stay fourth as they secured victory against Bad Eggs 200-193 (14-6) thanks mainly to top scorer Jason Butler’s 40, which puts them level with the two teams above them on 28 points.
Just three points behind them are All Sorts, moving above Groovies into fifth spot, after a 198-184 (14-6) win against Jocky’s Jokers, who stay bottom of the table.
Top scorer for All Sorts was Dave Batstone with a handy 40.
Finalising the top half of the table in sixth place are Roll With It, who beat Groovies and move above them, winning 200-187 (16-4).
In the bottom half of the table, Pacemakers had a narrow 175-171 (14-6) win over Nutters, and as a result move up a couple of places from 10th to eighth.
