Colin, a qualified gemologist who has more than 45 years of experience in the industry, said: “Leamington is a wonderful, vibrant town.

"The people are so friendly here and we have felt incredibly welcome – we’ll miss it terribly.

“After long careers as jewellers, and working in retail for all our lives, we are ready to retire.

“We have thought long and hard about closing the store and it’s been an incredibly difficult decision particularly because the most enjoyable aspect of the business is the people that we meet - many of whom have become good friends.

“For us, the time is right, and we are very much looking forward to spending time with our family, particularly our grandchildren.

"We hope our customers will take this final opportunity to buy a piece that they can treasure from our high-quality collection.”

The sale launches on Saturday (November 19) at 10am.

All jewellery in the sale will be reduced by 50 per cent with items being sold on a first come, first served basis.
