Leamington in Bloom photographic and retail competition winners announced

Leamington in Bloom has held a presentation for the winners of the various categories of its photographic and retail competition.

The Awards, held at the Town Hall, was led by the Mayor of Royal Leamington Spa Cllr Susan Rasmussen who presented the winners with their certificates and cheques.

Roger Wagstaff came first with his winning picture for the Leamington in Bloom photography competition with John Bray coming 2nd and Laura Valadez 3rd entrants were presented with their certificates and cheque prizes.

Town businesses that helped Leamington bloom included pubs with the New Inn awarded Gold, The Townhouse Silver, The Shire Grill Bronze and The Spa was Highly Commended.

The Mayor of Royal Leamington Spa, Cllr Susan Rasmussen, who congratulated the winners said: “The standard of the photographic and retail competition was of such a high standard. It was a pleasure to honour them together with the Leamington in Bloom committee who work so hard to ensure the town achieves yet another Britain in Bloom accolade.”

Leamington Spa in Bloom is a not-for-profit group run by volunteers in collaboration with the Town Council.
