Eyes down for an extra special bingo night held in memory of Rugby charity champion Tracie
A memorial bingo evening is being held in honour of much-loved Rugby charity champion Tracie Townsend-Mills.
The Check Your Ducks Bingo Night takes place at The William Webb Ellis pub in the town centre on Friday, November 13.
Organisers want to make the night extra special in memory of the group’s founder and ‘chief duck’ Tracie, who died from cancer last month (September) aged 56.
She launched Check Your Ducks to encourage people to check themselves on the 17th of every month and be aware of any early signs of cancer.

A spokesman for Check Your Ducks said: “This one means a little bit more to us. We want to come together, have a brilliant evening, share some laughs and make it a night to remember, all whilst honouring the memory of our beautiful Tracie.
"Tracie brought people together, filled lives with laughter and created something truly special with Check Your Ducks. So let’s do what she would want us to do; get together, have fun, support one another and keep her beautiful legacy flying high.”
There’s lots going on including cash prizes for the bingo winners, raffle and open the envelope.
Her friends pledged to make their ‘chief duck’ proud.

They added: “Let’s fill those tables, raise some money for a cause so close to our hearts and make this a truly special night in Tracie’s memory.” The fun starts at 7.30pm. Call The William Webb Ellis on (01788) 578692 to book your table. Bingo, raffle and open the envelope are cash only.
