With so many of Kenilworth’s events and activities having been cancelled this year, the Rotary Club of Kenilworth has launched a socially distanced treasure hunt.

The challenge is to identify answers to clues at 26 Kenilworth locations over the next few weeks, with answers being posted on the Rotary Club of Kenilworth’s Facebook page on September 1.

All the clues are less than 1¼ miles (as the crow flies) from the Iron Bridge in the middle of Abbey Fields.

There is no set route to follow and several trips will need to be taken, at participants' convenience, to complete all the answers.

Many of the clues will be easily spotted when out and about – participants are advised to look out for things which they will probably have seen before but may have never really noticed.

The clues may also take you to parts of Kenilworth which are less well known than others and the club hopes it will also re-introduce people to some of the town’s businesses and local sites of historic and other interest.

Participation is free and there are no prizes.

The Rotary Club is also asking people to share their progress and experiences on their Facebook page - without giving away the answers too soon.

The clue sheet is available from The Rotary Club of Kenilworth’s Facebook Page and from the club’s website at: www.kenilworthrotary.org.uk/events
