Residents at a care home in Warwick recently had a day filled with music as the home hosted its Summer Fete, featuring the first performance of the Park View Choir.

The event at the Park View care home, which is in Priory Road, brought together residents, relatives, and members of the community for the day, which also featured a cake sale and activities.

Money raised throughout the day will go directly towards the Residents’ Fund, which helps to support future activities, outings and experiences.

A resident and member of the choir said: “We had a wonderful time at the Summer Fete. Singing together in the choir was such an emotional experience, and I felt incredibly honoured to be part of something so inspiring.

“After months of practice, it was amazing to perform together and share the experience with everyone.

“It was a truly special day that I will always remember.”
