Warwick Castle hosting its first ever film premiere - retelling the story of Richard III's early years
Warwick Castle is set to host its first ever film premiere this week with a retelling of Richard III’s early years.
The premiere, which still has a few remaining tickets, will be taking place at the castle tomorrow evening (March 3).

‘A Taste of Loyalty’ is a retelling of Richard III’s first battle, which has been “brought to life with historical accuracy, powerful performances, and breath-taking medieval combat”.
It is a historical film project based on the acclaimed book Loyalty by Matthew Lewis.
Describing the film, a spokesperson from the ‘A Taste of Loyalty’ team said: “A Taste of Loyalty is a cinematic retelling of Richard III’s first battle, brought to life with historical accuracy, powerful performances, and breath-taking medieval combat.
"Set on Easter Sunday, 1471, at the Battle of Barnet, the film follows a young Richard as he faces war for the very first time, torn between family, honour, and the man who raised him.
“Can he convince his brother, Edward, that he is loyal?”
They added: “Created by historians, re-enactors, filmmakers and performers who love this period, A Taste of Loyalty brings authenticity to armour, battle choreography and the emotional weight of a king in the making.”
As well as being able to view the film, there will also be a Q&A session with the director, cast, and historian Matthew Lewis as well as behind-the-scenes insights and production stories.
Tickets cost £125 plus a booking fee.
