The new contact point will be based at Butlers Mews Care Home and will provide a friendly, welcoming space where members of the military community can seek help and support with any issues or concerns they may be facing.

Peter Knight, a volunteer with the Veterans Contact Point (VCP) and SSAFA, will be on hand to offer advice, guidance and assistance to anyone who needs it.

The contact point will open its doors on Monday, 16th November, and will then operate every Monday from 10am until 1pm.

Organisers are also in discussions with Rugby Borough Council about the possibility of establishing a second contact point in the town centre, making support even more accessible to the local military community.

The initiative marks an important step in recognising and supporting those who have served, are currently serving, and the families who stand alongside them.

Everyone from the Armed Forces community is welcome.
