Warwick takeaway named as a finalist for another award

Baabzi Indian Takeaway in Coten End has been shortlisted in the top 10 for Regional Takeaway of the Year for the West Midlands region at the Asian Restaurant and Takeaway Awards (ARTA) 2026.

It comes off the back of the takeaway winning the Curry Takeaway of the Year category at the English Curry Awards 2026 in August.

Baabzi said: “This is a fantastic achievement for us.

“We have just celebrated winning at the English Curry Awards, and now to be recognised by ARTA as a finalist is another huge milestone.

“If we were fortunate enough to win at ARTA, it would take Baabzi to our 12th award to date – something we could never have imagined when we started our journey in Warwick.

“For us, awards are not simply about trophies. They are recognition of the years of hard work, consistency, our team, our customers and the support we have received from the Warwick community.”

Baabzi added: “We have always been about more than serving food. We’ve been part of the Warwick community for many years, and supporting local people and charities has always been very important to us.

“To be recognised nationally while representing Warwick is something that means a great deal to our whole team.

“We’re approaching our 10th year in Warwick, so to reach this stage of our journey with another major national recognition is particularly special.

“Whatever happens at the ceremony, we are extremely grateful to everyone who has supported us along the way.”

The awards final will take place in London on October 12.
